AN IMMERSION IN THE UNSPOILT BEAUTY

The Langhe are a territory of excellence. The wine with its important denominations, the esteemed Tartufo Bianco d’Alba (Alba’s White Truffle), and the outstanding PGI Piedmont Hazelnut are an extremely valid manifestation of it.

The Alta Langa, that is translated as “Upper Langhe”, is suited for the cultivation of hazelnuts that extends in a hilly area ranging from 250 to 700 meters. Here, where our hazelnut trees are (Benevello, 670 m.a.s.l), the PGI Piedmont Hazelnut expresses the full delicacy of its flavor. It is appreciated by the most expert pastry chefs for the ease of calibration and peel removal, the good yield to the shelled, and the marked aptitude for preservation.

Small curiosity: the hazelnut tree is among the favorite species for white truffle growth.
